Compatible w/360?

Will 2k5 be deemed a major seller so that it will be backwards compatible with the Xbox 360? If not, I'll have to let it go...I hope not.

I dont think so, this was one of the competitive advantages PS3 had on 360. I think I read this somewhere..

Supposedly, you must have the hard drive in order to download some type of software that will allow you to play CERTAIN games to allow backwards compatibility. It's only supposed to be "top sellers" though, not just any game.

I got rid of my xbox but kept this game..im hoping for a couple things, one that it is compatible with the 360 and 2..the 360 gets a action replay type memory card so I can upgrade rosters. If neither of these come to pass I will be without football until 2k decides to make one

well by the time an AR type of device comes along for the 360,there might be 2k7 game available.

As for 2k5 being compatible with the 360, there was a MS endorsed poll somewhere and i think 2k5 had 4% of the votes and it was one of the higher rated ones,so its a good possibility.

Part of it is has to pass some emulator test they run first, to see if it can be converted. I read last week that someone from MS was saying quite few games have passed and already been okayed, and after that it’s all a matter of picking which ones to convert. Weird way of doing it, although it doesn’t surprise me. MS has been fighting backwards compatibility from the start.

I would say it has a very good chance to be, considering it's in the top 10 best sellers on the Xbox (#9 to be exact).
