Madden 24 *Not a Rebuild* Franchise

Rebuilds are played out and not difficult (dRaFt tHe fRaNcHiSe QB!), so we're heading in a different direction, and I hope you'll join me!

Bill Belichick has been promoted to the Emperor of Football in New England, and at the conclusion of the 2023 NFL preseason, Mike Lowe was named HC and GM of the Patriots, for whatever reason.

We're a team that can go a number of directions here, and I've already live-streamed Week 1 and created a highlight reel of our Week 2 game.

Using @canes21 sliders, I lost yet another game to drop the Patriots to 1-12. That's now 11 straight losses.

You really need to manage your gameplan with these sliders and know your players' strengths. It's been awesome though.

This most recent game, I was leading by 10 going into the 4th quarter of a Thursday Night game at Pittsburgh. Later, we had the ball w around 2 minutes to go and leading 24-19, we are running clock and content with a field goal to put us up 8. Zeke Fumbles and Steelers recover. They march down and score but miss the 2PT conversion. 25-24 Steelers.

With 3 TOs still, we move the ball into FG range. With 2 seconds left, they ice our rookie kicker. The 44-yard attempt is then hooked left.

I have FG accuracy at 45, and my rookie only has accuracy of 73. It felt legit but was a crushing loss.

If I keep my job (I predicted 7 wins), we're shaping up to have the #1 pick in the draft. There's a couple of defensive players I like and 1 QB. If we don't go QB, I may try and trade back as there are other players I really like in the middle of the 1st.
