Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Glad to see you're back with another great slider set. The reason I liked your set last year is because it's a great custom difficulty for anyone who thinks all pro is too easy and all madden is too hard. This is coming from a guy who is very anti slider when it comes to sports games. It seems like most of the other slider sets on here are not really focused on improving the challenge but more so on trying to get realistic status. The problem is that's almost impossible. Because the results vary depending on the skill of each player there really is no perfect slider set that's gonna gauruntee perfect stats for everyone. If you're modifying the sliders just to get perfect status, you're just gonna find yourself constantly making changes and you're never gonna be fully satisfied.

I just set up a CFM league with 4 of my friends last night and did a fantasy draft -- took us like 3.5 hours, but we're excited to get underway with realistic football simulations. I've been using these sliders for my own personal CFM and I've had awesome games. i have only two problems...

Getting to the QB or generating pocket pressure is very hard. I tried pass blocking for CPU on 20, and got 9 sacks in 1 game (albeit my drafted team is stacked on defense with khalil mack among others). When i bumped it up to 25 for the CPU it ended up being way less, almost no sacks. I'm going to drop it back down to 20.

My next problem was the CPU passing game. 3rd and 16, 3rd and 11, no matter what I'm playing the QB always finds his man and the CPU catches absolutely everything. It's very depressing having good 1st/2nd downs only to give up 5+ conversions and have them drive the field and score on 3rd and goal 70% of the time.

Other than that, great set. I'm liking the penalties. I tried your auto subs for 1 game and it took my starting running back out after the 1st quarter. I'm going back to default auto subs for now unless you're 100% sure some of the settings work (e.g. O-line, DTs, LBs, etc).

Love the sliders once again Flazko!

Not sure I quite agree with everyone regarding the lack of pressure. I don't think anything drastic needs to be done anyway.

I just finished a game as the Eagles beating the Browns 37-9, with 5 sacks. I mean they don't have a horrible O-Line and felt I had to work for the sacks. Never mind it was only my 4th or 5th game on Madden 17, the sack count will increase as I get more used to the game.

New Update 8/25


-better qb pressure. (make quick decisions, keep an eye on the blitz presnap. Get pressure to cause the qb to throw bad passes )
-switched from normal game speed to slow. This creates smoother gameplay, and tighter gameplay (choose your plays wisely)
-adjusted cpu and user run game
-adjusted cpu and user qb accuracy slider (this slider not only controls accuracy but also controls cpu awareness of the field)
-Adjusted fumbles
-adjusted user and cpu pass coverage and reaction time for tighter coverage


Enjoy! And remember TURN OFF "ON FIELD VISUAL FEEDBACK" and All Assists listed.

As soon as I saw the notification you posted I went right to it I'll make sure to play a game with these update and let you know how it affects the feel
