User coverage as safety

In past Maddens I’ve always been able to user a safety and make actual reads based on pattern match. I find it impossible this year trying to cover any sharp breaking route like an IN or OUT. I’ve watched the CPU do it but the game won’t allow me to do it. I can’t get a sharp enuff cut. Does anyone have any tips if this is even possible?

So everyone on the D line or USERing the Mike who really doesn’t influence squat? I get it, I can’t cover anyone this year.
