Is there a way to scout college guys during the season? If so how do I do it?

Re: Madden NFL 17 Q & A Thread

Anyone know where missing players go?

Chargers just signed Dexter McCluster and Griff Whalen and they aren't in the FA pool. I looked at every teams roster and they are nowhere to be found. I don't know why they would be deleted, they are rated much higher than a lot of guys in the FA pool

Edit - I'm talking about in an already existing franchise

This might be a dumb question, but how do you view your current players archetypes in CFM? I can only figure out how to do it by going to edit player.

And what are the pros and cons of offline vs online CFM? I just want to do single player vs. CPU. From what I've read, online contains the draft class tuning update to nerf it a little, and requires an internet connection in order to work, but you cannot save mid-game and load it up later. Is all of this correct? Thanks and cheers!

You pretty well hit the nail on the head. I prefer online because it enables much faster simulation speed. With online, it can be a pain not being able to save and re-load depending on what you're preferences are, but there are some instances where you may want to re-load if something doesn't break your way.

Thanks for the reply! Any help on my first question? I have a feeling it's really obvious and I missed it somehow...

Re: Madden NFL 17 Q & A Thread

How does "commentary updates" work? It advertises staying up to date with what we see during the season...but what if I'm in week 1? Or what if something happens in my season opposite of real life? Ar e the commentators talking about my season happenings, or real life? that would be a major disconnect. Can someone shed some light on this?
