Most online leagues go till March of April of the next year.
That happens in the real NFL too. Cam Newton came into the league with a stronger arm than nearly every QB in the league, his THP his rookie season was 97. THP alone doesn't equal better talent, i have done multiple drafts and seen a wide variety of QB's. Some are equal to current rookie, some are worse.

So far I have really liked the draft classes and scouting. I hate their scouting system as it is so unrealistic but I do love that you are not able to scout nearly the entire draft class like you could last year. I can scout around 7 guys a week fully with the scouting coach upgrade.

After 3 drafts, I'm finding that the highest draftable rookie may be 84(he was a QB) OVR
Couldn't trade the #1 pick

Went with this guy over a fast prospect with 4.37 40 yard.

There are some real gems in each draft class, and also some busts (still not enough but they are getting there).
Agreed

24 year olds in the draft? Wow. There won't be a lot of time to progress ones that old before the costs get prohibitive as that other thread shows costs jump for skills quite a bit at 26.

Ya that's like a guy who was held back early in life and was redshirted. The dev thread that was mentioned is AMAZING and needs to be considered when drafting. However, an 83 OVR rookie is legit and you'll enjoy playing with him.

Those guys look like beasts though so it shouldn't matter, overall is overrated as it is.

I forgot to mention earlier, but I like that you weren't able to trade the pick. It's been too easy to rack up on high picks by trading back before. I don't think I've ever actually picked with a #1 pick lol

I can't wait to get home and play.

Again, stupid work.
