Sounds like they are doing away with the dice rolls in some situations and letting the players position, weight, and momentum determine the outcome. This could be big for pass blocking and pass rushing.

Without taking the thread off course too much, I don't get that impression at all. I think he's referencing a step forward to accommodate all users - whether sim, competitive, or arcade. There is something for every user in Madden 18.
