"Plu-n-play is gone"!!!

.
So they over hauled the CPUs roster logic?

That's going to require extended time within Franchise mode, which is impossible to do at this setup.

They'll go deeper at some point, but Gameplay is on point this year.

Re: EA Play Questions/Requests for Madden 18

One of the things I learned quickly was to rubberneck the dev's when they were doing interviews with various individuals as they would drop little nuggets about some aspects we couldn't see live here at the event.

1) Off ball injuries for OL is in per Clint inside Franchise.

2) Kick Meter risk/reward has been tuned more
- mainly impacts FG, but short Punts will kill you due to field advantage.

3) Hit Stick has been revamped some
- Leg Tackout mapped to flicking down on stick and carries an increased risk/reward dealing with timing and players involved

- you can "Blow Up The Block" by flicking the stick as a LB
**don't know if extended to other positions
**nor what ratings will drive success win chance of executing

4) No more Suction Tackling
- guys chasing from behind will no longer be suctioned into the tackle
- there will need to be a physical interaction for the tackle attempt to begin

Was going to stay for a second day, but have a 4 hr bike ride back home I want to get out of the way.

Re: EA Play Questions/Requests for Madden 18

Other than the Badge System that is in Geodude's Signature, I would like to see two more things prevalent:

1). More Dynamic Progression/Regression in players
I don't like the fact that all players seem to "peak" at age 26, and then start to decline every year after that. Where did EA get that idea from?
In real life, every individual is different. Some guys will taper off at that age, but players can keep on improving up to their 30's. It's should vary for every player, depending on injuries and other factors.

2). Aggressive players being punished with Unsportsmanlike conduct and other bad play.

As much as EA doesn't want to display the "darker" aspects of the game (fights, Concussions, fines, etc), these things do happen in the NFL. They preach the notion "if you see it on the field, you see it in the game", but that's clearly not the case.

Having hot headed players like Vontae Burfict, dirty hitters like Ryan Shazier, or even showboating guys like Terrell Owens would add another dynamic aspect that users would get punished for have to manage - making a Franchise more challenging and interesting. If one of your Stars is a player constantly causing problems for the team, it brews controversy.

Any word on if suction blocking has also been eliminated, or just suction tackling?

My question exactly. That would be huge on so many levels.

(My guess is 'yes'....player interactions is something the new engine did well for FIFA 17...)
