I won't go so far as to not buy the game (mainly because of Best Buy's trade in deal/GCU discount), but yeah, seeing these animations still in the game bothers me so damn much. I still have nightmares of the way it played out in Madden 17.

Guys juking left and the animations actually making the defender go in the same direction, making it look like he wasn't faked at all, but then looks like he slipped on a banana peel or something so that the ball-carrier could get by. It's some of the worst animations you'll see in sports games.

Doesn't look like any 'weight' to me. Freeman is angling toward the sideline when that terrible missed tackle thing takes place. He is immediately back to full speed and now in a straight parallel path with the sideline..without blowing out his knee.

While the improvements are obvious. I'm not as impressed by the graphic as most. Yes, the lighting and textures look great and improved. The player models to me are still lacking. They're virtually the same. My biggest problem with the way madden players look is the shoulder pads/sleeves and the permanent bent knees. They really struggle with the sleeve and arm area. It just does not looks good.

Specially after what 2k dropped yesterday.

Overall the improvements do look good. It's what they didn't work on that gets me.

I think for everyone, but I think the youtubers can choose how fast or slow to release them.
