Offense Playbooks List

Here are some interesting stats for the offensive playbooks:

The average number of shotgun formations in each team playbook, excluding the special playbooks, is 15.25.
The average number of singleback formations in each playbook, excluding the special playbooks, is 9.78.
The average number of I formations in each playbook, excluding the special playbooks, is 3.4.
The Giants and Panthers have the most number of shotgun formations at 20.
The Cardinals and Dolphins have the most singleback formations at 14.
The 49ers have the most I form sets at 7.
The spread playbook is entirely shotgun formations (other than goal line and hail mary)

Defense Playbooks List

There are really no new formations added to the defensive playbooks this year. Some of the biggest changes came to the 49ers, Bills, and Chargers playbooks as these teams moved from a 3-4 base defense to a 4-3.
