Re: Really Simple Question

Ehh... I got it on 360, I am really considering going back to Gamestop to see if they let me exchange it for the PS2 version. The franchise mode is garbage far as I'm concerned.

Gameplay is everything people said it was

Re: Really Simple Question

Really? Is franchise that bad?

So are you saying gameplay is excellent?

Re: Really Simple Question

Yea, man... It's almost like last year's version, but the gameplay is cool aside from an *** of turnovers and I've been playing on PRO, If you have a PS2 or XBOX I say get it on there. I got a homie who has PS2 so I'm going to drop by his crib and see how the game is before I take mine back 2 gamestop 4 an exchange.

Could you expand on what you don't like about the franchise? I only have the 360 and kinda iffy on the game as is.

Can you tune sliders to make less turnovers?

Re: Really Simple Question

Aight simple.

You can't set your prices that's not a big deal at all, but first gen's have it why not next?

Off season, you don't get restricted free agent options so pretty much everyone's either resigned or they are released there's not chance of maybe getting a 3rd round compensation pick for someone the computer wants to sign off your roster.

And they brought back that bull**** 30 day Free Agency instead of breaking it down into two free agency modes.

Playing it just reminds me of last year's version with a few offensive upgrades, The turnovers in this game are ****ing wild, I thought people were lying, but damn Fred Taylor doesn't fumble and I fumbled about 3 times in a game, one I understood Bullock came off the line unblocked and hit sticked me.

There are it's pluses though, catching the ball in traffic and being able to make possession catches on the sideline on your own it's awesome. Being able to play as the receiver run his route correctly and call for the ball is a cool feature.

They game was a bit overhyped 4 the next gen users though that's just my opinion take it was you may, I say rent it first if your unsure.

--I haven't tested the sliders yet, I played a few games simulated the season to see what the franchise mode was like and got discouraged and pretty much decided to get it on PS2.

Personally, I have never had more fun playing a football video game than I am right now with the 360 version. The gameplay is nothing short of spectacular and it really feels like the guys with real football knowledge are rewarded. If you are really particular in franchise mode you might want to get current gen because of the few extra bells and whistles it has, but unless you like perfectly structuring contracts, having restricted free agents, and other things I view as minor, the 360 version is the way to go. I have never found a pro football game that I enjoy while playing that even gets close to this one. If you still arent sure I would suggest renting first.
