Re: Quarterback Voices?

Thanks guys. Good to know we will at least have some. I am also pretty puzzled on how they are not able to get all. I can see rookies not being included because they haven't played in an NFL game. If crowd noise was a factor then how come they were able to get QB's such as Rodgers, Eli, Brady, etc. when those stadiums are usually very loud.

Agreed. I just filmed in an old boardroom where the A/C kept kicking on no matter if the controls said it was off. We closed in with the boom mic's, and via a Final Cut extension software (something compatible - don't know what), the editor killed the noise basically 95%. A clear enough cadence with 5% white noise of the crowd that's basically going to get layered with simulated crowd noise anyway, it all would become as perfect as when you have the overhead cam/mic on the zip line in some games.

P.S. A license for release and use of one's likeness is one thing, but then there are those for one's voice(s), too. This may well be the issue and dependent upon the budget they have.

If the list was based on audio quality it would be a lot more random. we'd have chad henne and Blaine gabbert mixed in.

Nice. I didn't realise they'd done this.

Question: will Tebow's "go" signal vary depending on the offense his team is running? The read-option signal was actually "go".

You asked that question in the linked thread and it was answered.
