Willard... I haven't checked out V2a yet but do you remember if you fixed Brandon Hicks beard?

He has this huge beard in the game.

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released

Quick question, since ive never done it before beyond a sim, how does turning on roster control work? I know it disallows trades, but will I have to make minor league moves for all teams as well as sign their draft picks, or is that only with 30 team control I would have to do that? Thanks for the help in advance!

Is this roster worth starting a franchise over for? I'm only about two weeks into mine right now.

Hicks still has a nice manly beard, but it was edited down from a vagabond beard. For questions on other players, you can DL the roster and scroll through for guys that are important to you.

The beauty of 30-team control is you can take as much, or as little, responsibility as you want. By creating two profiles, you can set your profile associations that govern teams you are not using to do most things on auto to your preference. These two threads linked below are classics and people keep asking...bookmark them people!

The 30 Team Control Guide

Although this guide was developed for MLB 13, it works fine for MLB 14 on both PS3 and PS4.

Here's another that might help explain things in a different way:

Will the OP be updated with the 30 team control info like it says?

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released

I just took a look at this roster for the first time (I haven't used it before), and the ratings re-rates appear fairly drastic.

I appreciate the hard work of everyone who does these kinds of things for the community, so my questions are really intended to help me learn a little more about how you guys do things, not as criticism.

One question is about fielding ratings: how are those done? The team I'm using in the OSFM rosters is SF, and I watch a lot of their games. Two players who got dinged fielding wise are Crawford, who is elite IRL and in OSFM, and Pagan, who routinely makes great plays in CF. These reductions made me curious, so how exactly are fielding ratings calculated?

The other question is about starter stamina. Flipping through the teams, I see plenty of starters with 50s and 60s stamina. I wonder how that works with QC games and how it was calculated. In QC games with default sliders, a starter with 90s for stamina can go 7 innings on a decent start, a little further on a really good start, but often can also come out after 6 due to fatigue. Guys with 70s stamina in those situations routinely make it through 5, but not much further. So I wonder how guys with 40s and 50s are supposed to make it out of the 3rd inning in-game. Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated.

Again, thanks for the hard work, and for fielding the questions.
