Go to settings in the top right corner. Hit file management. Go to load, select load live roster. From here you can either save, which I would recommend, or just start your franchise. Go to the franchise tab and hit square/x to start a new franchise. It will then ask which roster you want. If you just loaded the live roster you can choose, “use current roster”. If you saved the live roster, so you will always have it, then you can also choose “load saved roster”. Hope that helps.

The new live roster is cool but if you choose roster with injuries it doesn't reflect some of the updates from today. Like the new KBO guy in SF and the new Japanese pitcher with the cubs

This is true. You can't load a roster that is updated with injuries at this time. I do recall it was maybe a week later before Yamamoto appeared on the Dodgers roster in the "load with injuries" roster. I do not know if it will be the same for these other players added today.

There's no way to start a Franchise and have all current lineups and pitching rotations in tact. When you start a Franchise it will automatically change 26 man rosters, pitching rotations and lineups no matter what you do. It's been that way for years and it's super annoying.
