I believe two people have already posted 40 man rosters based on V2.

I am planning on waiting for 55's pitch edit version of this roster, and creating a 40 man roster from that.

Thanks for the hard work again, you guys!

Not sure if I should put corrections in here or not but; You guys have Aaron West on the Astros twice. SP and RP.

Also; Brandon Meredith twice as a 1B and RF.

I think they both kept the injured players out, though. I'm waiting on one with everyone in. I don't care that they're out for the season in real life. I like realism, but I don't go THAT far. Lol!

I'm just getting the guys that I want to make sure end up on 40-man rosters.

For example, I added Jose Fernandez to the 40, promoted him to the MLB, and then put him on the 60-day DL with the longest mid-range type injury I could find... I think it was like 70 something days or so. That way when he's healthy he won't be rotting away in the minors.

I also did the same thing for Zack Wheeler, except I gave him a season ending injury.

I'm not really anal about injuries though. I'm not bothering with any 15-day stuff, just the 60-day ones for all-stars or anyone else good enough that it would bother me if they wound up stuck in the minors.

So what happens if you use the V2 roster (25 man) with single team control. Is there a downside to the cpu not having a full 40 man roster?

Re: OSFM 2015 V.2 Rosters Available Now For MLB 15 The Show

CPU will not pull any players (not on 25 man) up to play in majors unless someone on 25 man is injured.

Also, the roster creators put a lot of players who are injured in 1A (Short and long term injuries) and none of them will be brought up regardless of the circumstance.

The reason for 25 man is to ensure all lineups/rotations stay in tact after spring training. If you use a 25 man, it is recommended you manually add the 15 players back to the 40 man roster for each team, after Spring Training.

If you do not use 30 team control, you should use a 40 man roster. The lineups/rotations will be jumbled a bit, but the correct players should be playing and the CPU will make roster moves over the course of the season...

Re: OSFM 2015 V.2 Rosters Available Now For MLB 15 The Show

Just a couple errors I noticed:

a) Santana and Wolf on Blue Jays both have wrong dollar amount and length on their contracts. Wolf is signed for 7yrs, Santana for 3.

b) The contracts for other teams look to be 100% accurate on the dollar for the most part. I remember reading that this would cause problems down the line in franchise mode with players not getting signed. Any thoughts on this or is there an alternative to it?

Thanks for pointing them out. Also Carlos Queintin looks to be the only retired player still on the roster.

Ridin or anyone, is there a list or something of players that could be used as replacements to be imported in? Or ones who were taken out of V1?
