It seems that no matter what settings or difficulty I used, every game is a low-scoring pitcher's duel. Every year in The Show my team always has the fewest runs scored (offensively) and I always allow the fewest runs scored. The result? Low scoring games, almost every single game.
I've been using a hybrid of these settings and get plenty of high scoring games. Beat the Pirates other day as Cubs 9-0 on All-Star all settings. In fact, I had won 5 games in a row and had blown out Pirates 2 games straight. In 3rd game, I was winning again 5-0 thru 7 innings. Suddenly, Pirates bats woke up (I didn't change a single thing about how I was playing). Pirates won 7-6. I am in middle of 4th game and losing 2-0 thru 4 innings. So you really need to take large sample size.
Exhibition Game (Quick Counts ON)
Mariners (User) vs. Angels (Cpu)
T. Walker vs J. Weaver
Had a nice solo to blast off a Weaver hanger in the first with Seth Smith. Angels returned the favor with a 3-run HR by Cron in the bottom of the first. Both starters settled in for a few innings until Walker was chased in the middle innings. A big error on a misplay by A. Jackson in center in the 6th gave them enough breathing room for the win. I made a push in the 8th but just couldnt get the timely hits as needed. Another fun game. Loving the way it plays this year!
Still gonna work on drawing more walks and trying to get pitches/strike ratios down just a bit. I threw 73% strikes and the Angels staff threw 71% strikes. Again, Im still working on being more patient at the dish, so the percentages probably should have been in the mid 60's% due to me chasing some. Here are the stats:

Exhibition Game (Quick Counts On)
Cincinnati Reds(User) vs Pittsburgh Pirates(CPU)
H. Bailey vs G. Cole
This was a fun game. Saw a little more offense than my past few games, especially in the HR department. Game was back and forth. Mesoraco came up clutch and deposited one over the left field wall in the top of the 9th to take the lead. Chapman came in with the heat and got the save. Another great game.

Will these sliders to ok with Directional hitting?
They're developed using ZONE HITTING and METER PITCHING......so I don't know
BUT....every year there are guys who play using different options and 99% of the time they say the sliders work great....so go for it.....but I won't make changes and can't help someone who is using different options that what these sliders are built for, but you should be fine
TNK - EXHIBITION GAME Boston Red Sox @ Chicago White Sox Pitching Matchup - Clay Buchholz vs John Danks
Game was played using the updated sliders in post #1 of the thread
* The Red Sox fell behind 3-0 early before getting a pair of runs on back to back RBI doubles by Bogaerts and Hanigan in the top of the 4th to cut the deficit to 3-2. Hanley Ramirez led off the top of the 5th and sat back on a breaking ball from Danks and hammered a solo HR to LF to tie the score at 3-3. Boston then took the lead in the 6th inning when Mookie Betts turned on a fastball from Albers and crushed a 2-run HR 407 feet into the LF stands to give the Red Sox a 5-3 lead. Chicago had a chance in the bottom of the 8th after a double by LaRoche brought Avisail Garcia to the plate with 2 outs. Edward Mujica came in from the Boston pen and struck out Garcia on a nasty splitter in the dirt to end the threat and send the game to the 9th inning with Boston leading 5-3. Mike Napoli blew the game open with a 2-run double in the top of the 9th after back to back walks by Ortiz and Ramirez to make it 7-3. Victorino doubled down the LF line to score Napoli and make it 8-3.
* Much more offense in this game than the two games I played last night. This further proves my point about how we need to look at the big picture when judging/analyzing the sliders.
* Very happy with the way the sliders are playing....things look and feel right. Last night I played a pair of low scoring games where I had plenty of opportunities to score runs but couldn't get hits with men in scoring position. Tonight I hit the ball well with authority and had a bunch of extra base hits & some home runs.
* 11 runs combined on 23 combined hits......so much for the low offensive stats from last night.....it's all about variety which these sliders are providing right now.
