Re: UFC 200

Love the poster....hate the fight.

Aldo v. Edgar 2 for the interim belt is on the card but its not the co-main. That has yet to be announced.

I hate the Diaz/McGregor fight. Why is it at 170?

And what could possibly the co-main? Lawler/Condit 2?

Can't believe they are doing that. Interim belt while the belt holder is fighting on the same card 2 weight classes above and a non-title fight.

Re: UFC 200

I don't get why Conor pushed for this fight to be at 170? Dana, Lorenzo and his coach all wanted the fight at 155. I could've gotten behind that, because at least then it's a de-facto No. 1 contender fight at that weight.

Edgar-Aldo for the interim title is just weird when Conor is on the same card, fighting 2 weight classes up.

This is a short-term cash-in by the UFC that could have bad long-term implications if Conor gets choked out again.

Yeah the 170 thing is what really sours the fight for me.

Why 170?

Is it Conor's ego wanting to prove that he was right all along about 170?

I dunno man.

I guess if Conor loses again he still can defend his title/unite the belts after and if he accomplishes that he's "back on top," I guess?

I dunno. Just trying to make sense of it, short term and long term.

I agree. I think it's pure ego.
I don't have much interest in this rematch. If it was at 155, I'd be all in. But at 170, I don't care nearly as much.

Re: UFC 200

I don't like the decision to have this fight at 170.

At least the poster department has stepped it up since Conor has called them out.
