Re: UFC 207: Ronda's Return

I thought he just said CM Punk lasted longer? I'm gonna guess that was said as some lame joke and not him directly comparing the two.

What about the previous YEARS of dominant performances?

She's a success, has a bad coach, and certainly if she stays with him should retire - and when she does, she will go straight to the hall of fame.

on a ide note - I loved the co-main. It's a FOTY candidate for me in terms of entertainment - Cruz was embarassed. I would have loved to hear the exchange after the final bell, where it looked like more dirty stuff would happen, but then it was just let's squash it. That display of taunting was pretty crazy. Anderson used to do it, but usually before he did anything. This guy just did it before, during and after big exchanges, thought it was nuts. I would have toned it down once I got the upper hand and thought he took it too far, but hey, it was major entertaining and because I think Cruz is a bit of a weasel, it made it ok somehow lol

So basically you missed all the times she disrepected opponents, all the times she trashed talked and threw shade when she was beating women who had no business being in there with her.......and then when she gets her *** kicked she goes and cries in a dark corner. And all the while blaming the media like it was their fault she got her **** pushed in.

And in a year where we've high profile athletes get through my raked by the media for being sore losers, it boggles my mind that instead of calling Rousey that, they dance around it by talking about how she transcended the sport and the other women wouldn't be there if not for her.

Yeah, we get it. No one is taking that away from her. It just doesn't change the fact that she's a petulant child and a sore loser.

He's a little extreme, but he's not completely off, either.

She's a great fighter, don't get me wrong. But it's just hard for me to respect her when she acts the way she acts and people make excuses for her. Everything she accomplished isn't going to be taken away from her because people are calling her out for the way she's acting.

Anyway, I'd like to see her get rid of that coach, find a coach that's actually going to help her, and fight again and hopefully go out on a high note.
