Honestly, I think the only reason that MLB the show even came close is because the OS MLB the show community is way too forgiving. You say anything bad about that game on here and you will quickly be told my a hundred posters why you are wrong.

I am a long time show player and poster on here, and truth be told MLB the shows franchise is probably the most stale out of all of the sports games. They didn’t add improve anything to franchise for like 6 years straight, and are just now only feeding us little tid bits every year like the new scouting system (which honestly I didn’t even think was that great). I am interested to see what they do this year, but if we are just going by things added/improved over the last 5 years MLB the show should be nowhere near second best franchise mode
