Touches Tendency Slider

I just played a game against the Kings myself being the Spurs. I lost by 10 but for some mysterious reason... Tyreke Evans rarely touched the ball. He spent the majority of the game watching from the bench as he finished with a game low 5pts.

Tyreke rarely touched the ball and when he did he was inaffective. No drives to the basket period. Was this a result of good Spurs defense or Tyreke not getting enough touches as I did notice he wasn't aggressive in game at all.

So with this being said I'm wondering if it's a good idea to raise the touches slider for certain players in hopes of keeping team top scorers where they should be
