My understanding from what was said earlier is that Skill Points are still in the game. Paychecks are used for paying for drills and team activities, etc.

That's.. odd though don't you think? I mean we can already go into a game and lock ourselves to a player. There's not THAT much difference besides all the MP stuff. Fair warning, my little brother created his own Penny Hardaway in 2K11 for My Player mode. Demanded a trade to Orlando and everything. However, his My Player has succumbed to injury five times already. After the first two times, he used all his skill points to juice up the durability attribute. Even still, the injuries just keep rolling in. Penny might be cursed.
