FA - What does "Will Re-Sign" mean?

When you're playing an association (online), and you have players who are going to become free agents in the offseason....when you offer them a contract, and their status says, "will re-sign"....what does that mean? I can still offer more money, but does that mean they accepted my offer???

It means they are willing to accept an offer to re-sign, doesn't guarantee that they will however.

It means they are willing to re-sign. Sometimes they will not and it will say something like they are gonna test free agent market.

well, it means they are willing to re sign with you...what else would it mean?

Well...to me, it could mean 2 things.

1.) They accepted my contract offer and will re-sign.

or, as others suggest...

2.) They MAY accept the offer, and perhaps I should offer more.

will resign, meaning taht they will most likely resign. but my suggestion would be resign them before the in-season deadline. do not wait to resign them after the deadline, because by then theyll most like test free agency

So I am guessing your new to this whole basketball "universe" thing.

Re-sign: When one's contract is about to end (I think if they have a team option on their contract?) they can come to terms with an agreement to stay with their team unless traded or waived(which is sorta stupid because why would someone resign someone if theyll just release them anyway?)

So to put it together, The player desires to make a new contract with their current team before their contract ends(In final year).
