NBA Live 10 Roster Updates Coming From EA Sports

Never trade in the good versions of sports games....always get rid of the bad versions.

I still have Live 06 and Live 10 because they were the best versions in the last 5 years IMO. Got rid of 07, 08 and 09 the next year...

I didn't trust Elite 11 from the start so that's why i kept Live 10 stored away just in case

Does anybody know, at this point, what will be updated in Live 10?
I know some of this has been mentioned, but here is what I would like to see:

- Updated Rosters (with new rookies/new players)
- Updated 2010-2011 NBA schedule
- Maybe a patch (to fix any issues left over from the previous year)
- Updated Logos/Jerseys (which may be doable in an add-on)
- Updated All star weekend (Also doable via game add-on)

Live 10 was a great game, and I'm excited to see what they do with this.
Are they expected to make an announcement in the coming week about what will be included? Or will it just be updated rosters?

If so, will the rookies be included? Will they use the builds from Elite?

These I would like to see, and all are very do-able.
#1 Rosters: they kept updating 09 just with generic bald guys but if they put the effort into 10 it is very likely this will happen.
#2 Schedule: also do-able but I see maybe dynamic season being updated more than a schedule for season or dynasty.
#3 Patch: If EA wants to keep fans around for this years 11 or next years 12 they better do a patch. what I would like to see is a patch to add Elites control layout into Live gameplay (VERY WISHFULL THINKING ON MY PART)
#4 Logos/Jerseys: They Added OKC in 09, look what they did for March Madness 08 with the tourny jersey pack, also what they did in the latest patch for madden this year.
#5 Updated allstar weekend: again do-able, See my #1 and #4.

I have been so upset over the delay/cancel of Elite 11 these last 2 days, but after going back and playing the demo for Live10 , I would be very very content will all the above additions to 10 untill something surfaces for the 11-12 season.

And this is what i would expect as an update. Lets face it,Elite11 will never see the light of day..i don't think this is asking too much heck even if they said it was DLC and it costs $5.00 i would still get it

Can a developer chime in and hint that any of this stuff is being considered?
I would also pay for these DLCs.
I agree, the control scheme would be a nice addition to Live 10, but probably a long shot. You never know though!

Live 09 had DNA updates but had generic players for rookies (ie all the same height, faces, ratings, positions)

Since EA guys even made an announcement about the roster update for Live 10

I assume they meant they would be doing proper roster updates (no generic players for rookies, etc)

If what the EA does with Live 10 roster updates for the upcoming season comes out to be exactly THE SAME as what it happened to Live 09, I WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED again.
