Working on Washington right now but I just read some of the Heisman candidate stuff in that article you posted.

Totally forgot about Troy Davis of Iowa St who had an incredible year in 95 I believe as mentioned in the article dude rushed for like 2100 yards that season.

I need to research their program so I can add them to the list of teams to create this summer.

Been messing around on there. Basically in the wayback machine, you type a URL in and it gives you calendar back to 96 and you can select your day and it pulls up the website. Trying to find draft info but nothing yet.

Troy Davis was a beast. My huskers kept him under wraps usually but he was truly a one man show on those pitiful teams. Iowa St is a tough research. Spent two years to find their roster info for the 1995 roster set. I actually got it from there sports information department. A good example of my obsession and sickness when it comes to rosters. I will see what I can dig up. Have some early 90's Big 8 Athlonsports as well.

This is 2001 draft info. Never seen this site before and each position list has 40 times whip you may have already as 2000+ that internet thingy kind of got popular.

https://web.archive.org/web/20000621...=2&StId=206548

Also some pretty cool scouting reports on NFl free agents in 2000. Examples:

Banks, Tony Baltimore Ravens 6-4 215

Has the physical and athletic skills…Has a good arm, but lacks touch on the ball…Lacks maturity and the intangible qualities of a pro quarterback although he has been improving…Still fumbles too much…Has trouble under pressure…Makes too many mistakes…Lacks presence in the pocket, especially against the rush…Needs a lot of mechanical work…Struggled and wasn't put in an ideal situation to succeed in St. Louis, but is in a great situation in Baltimore where he has a chance to succeed…Now the question is whether Banks will continue to mature and continue to ascend his feel for the game…Due to Banks' past, it's a tough call.

Hoying, Bobby Oakland Raiders 6-3 221

Has the size, physical stature, and arm strength, but needs some work…Holds onto the ball too long at times…Doesn't see the field very well, but has been making improvement…Needs mechanical work, but has been improving…Has shown what he can do in the right situation…Was in a bad situation in Philadelphia in 1998 where he lost confidence and his mechanics became a mess…I still feel he has a chance to develop into a solid quarterback.

Ismail, Qadry Baltimore Ravens 6-0 196

Has great speed and athletic ability…Runs well after the catch…Drops lots of easy passes at times, but was a lot better last season…Good return man…Shies away from contact at times…Improved his feel for the game and improved his work habits, so he developed into a more competent receiver last season…Would be best as a third receiver on good teams.

'Tight End U' In the late 1990s, Sports Illustrated proclaimed the University of Washington to be “Tight End U.” With NFL prospects at the position dating from the era of coach Jim Owens through the “Dawgfather” years, all the way up to Rick Neuheisel’s teams in the early 2000s, the tradition of the tight end runs deep in Montlake.

If you control the Huskies on this roster file when I'm done finding a playbook that utilizes 3 TE's would be awesome for their squad.

I have them rolling with Bruener, Cleeland, Conwell and Stevens.

They arguably could have had anywhere from 6-8 TE's on this roster but ultimately decided to go with just those 4 standouts.

Check out the Wisconsin and Penn State Playbooks. There's a 3 tight end set in there. And these playbooks have tons of 2 TE sets. The Penn State playbook is basically the New England Patriots playbook from Madden.
