Some overreaction going on in here.

Lucky wasn't going to make the team anyway, but it just looked bad.

As for the arrests/complaints... **** happens.

The team will be fine. I love the youth on defense and look forward to watching these guys battle.

Losing Zeke for a game or two won't change much... as is with most teams, the Cowboys will go as far as Dak can take them. If Dak struggles, the team will struggle.

Not using Morris this year would be a crime. This team can run its way to a Super Bowl.

I agree with you. Alfred Morris needs a few more carries than he got last season. He's a very capable runner with experience. I think 10-12 carries is a good number for him if Zeke is on the roster & not on a suspension. Let Zeke get it 15-18 times a game plus a few passes his way. McFadden is in the same category as Morris & he's a faster runner than Morris.

He should get 6-8 carries a game himself. Rod Smith has looked good running the ball with authority. I would be surprised if he didn't make the roster. He could be used on special team as well.

I think he'll get a short suspension, but for no other reason than for optics. Hard for me to believe that in a DV case, it's going to take over a year to find concrete evidence to warrant a suspension. From what we already know,
there's more evidence in favor of Zeke than against him.

Under the scrutiny of the past few years combined with the added pressure from other owners to suspend, the NFL doesn't want to look soft in a case like this.

I could see it being successfully appealed, however.

Zeke is an idiot first of all. He puts himself in really bad situations, like he has with this girl. Based on everything that the PD that was handling this case found Zeke really didn't do anything. Everything points to this being a scorned lover trying to ruin him.

Cris Carter is a bigger idiot than Zeke though. This fool has always hated the Cowboys and always takes shots at them. I find it highly unlikely that Carter's "sources" would be able to find anything law enforcement couldn't find.

If by chance though he does get a stiff punishment and is suspended for 6-10 games this team is going to struggle. I'm not sold on McFadden, not as an every down back. Morris looks the part but as we saw last year, isn't very effective when running against a starting defense. He looks good playing against spares in the preseason but when the games count he's very average at best. So our hope comes down to Rod Smith and a journeyman that may not even be on the roster right now.

The bright spot though is that they have Dak
