I sim most games, I play interesting pitching match ups. When I say interesting pitching match ups, it means when the opposing team has a great pitcher starting, since the Rockies have 0 great starting pitchers.

Milwaukee wins the WS in 5 over the Texas Rangers.

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***

Needed a SP(as you can tell, I had this same issue in my 1st Rox save lol) traded away Fowler to get one. I love Fowler, but he's been injured way too much and my OF depth is insane in this game. Traded Fowler, Trevor Story (2nd best prospect, but he's a SS and I have this guy named Tulo), Johnny Herrera, other minor leaguers for Clay Bucholtz + minor leaguers.

I just noticed that Dickey pitched 277 innings Won the AL Cy Young, and Aroldis Chapman won the NL Cy Young as a closer.

Jhoulys Chacin won the GG for me, I guess he better had a good glove since he was 9-13 with 6.66 ERA. I still let him start since after I sent him down and called up Chatwood, Chatwood had a season ending injury. And the fact that I have no pitching depth.

Trying to shed some salary, I offered Cuddyer. And the Royals offered Eric Hosmer for him Tried to keep it realistic so I didn't accept that.

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***

My Pitching is a Joke. Seriously.

vs the Phillies, 6-0 lead by the third inning, we lose in 14.

vs the Dodgers 6-0 lead in the fifth, the Dodges then score 10 runs over the next 2 innings.

vs the Royals, 6-0 lead in the 4th, we lost in 9.

Half the time I just end up laughing because I half-expect it by now.

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***

So I took a break from my Jays save because I want to research some prospects before taking a run at the draft. I had a Braves game running and here's my team heading into June.

Playing out all my games and managing them is fun and works well. The team is doing well despite some stints on the DL for my stars. Heyward, Freeman, Justin Upton, and now Simmons, have been on the DL. My starting pitching is starting to turn things around and the lineup has started to hit.

B.J. Upton is as bad in my game as he is IRL while Justin was off to a great start before his injury. Heyward has started to get hot while McCann has been solid. Freeman has been disappointing, but I'm hoping he'll get going soon.

I haven't made any moves other than picking Trevor Plouffe off waivers when Chris Johnson went down. He's been very solid for me and cost me nothing. Surprised the Twins put him on waivers in early May.
