Re: The One vs. My Career
While I appreciate that we have cutscenes in 2K, the execution has been horrible. The worst story yet. While The One doesn't have cutscenes with dialogue for your player, it's more easy going and not as cringeworthy. I don't have a problem with 2K's gameplay, it's just that everything else makes me sick. I even got tired of the Neighborhood.
My only knock on The One is the draft. No matter where you're drafted, it shakes up the draft. I know some people might like this, but having Markannen go to Minny, Kuzma to BK, Donovan Mitchell to Denver doesn't sit well with me. I know those are the teams that originally drafted them but those guys have bright futures with their respective teams. I remember getting drafted number 1 and being excited about being part of a young exciting Sixers squad, only to see that Fultz didn't end up on the roster.
Tho I like 2K's gameplay, and that's why I continue to play, I could do without everything else. I feel I have more freedom in The One and I play it more and more as the days pass by. If Live had cutscenes to go with it's story, oh man. Still fun but there is also still room for improvement.
