The game wouldn't be playable imo for another year or 2.
Not really considering if it is what the other games they(Big Ant) are like then you will be able to get each team independently along with stadiums, logos, everything customizable can be downloaded independently of one another.

Basically, once a Nike logo is out, then you can have one person per team make Nike uniforms, then they can make rosters for that team, or someone else can. More or less you can have a bunch of people all working on every aspect simultaneously and have accurate schools, uniforms, stadiums, and rosters within a month of release.

I could take one weekend watching football on TV and using another screen for the game and easily create the entire ACC from rosters, unifroms, stadiums, field designs, etc. in one sitting if I didn't leave the house. Now imagine that there will be whole communities full of people that would be willing to do that and there is no reason at all we'd have to wait more than 5-6 weeks at most to have near everything we could want.

What holds up NCAA rosters is that only one person can work at a time. You have to use the same file throughout the process. So only Minnesota can be worked on by one guy, then when it's done you move to Michigan, and on. It takes a long time to do it 1 by 1. Assuming the same setup is in the college game then 12 people could all work at once and have an entire conference finished in the same time it takes to do one roster for NCAA 14.

To compliment the other video posted, this guy has a couple videos showing off what people have made, All this does is make me want this to become real more, but I will be shocked if they reach their goal and ever being production.

Okay I didn't know multiple downloads would be able to play together. I was thinking if you download from one person that is the file you need to use and you can't lump them all together.

Thanks

Now they just need to raise $2,350,000 after raising $149k in the last 4 months.

All of the funds (the $850k) are refunded if they miss their goal by 5/15/2018 per the terms.

So this project lives or dies in the next 8 months.

The partnership is exciting, but the prospect of something coming out of this seems really bleak IMO.

I didn't realize there would be refunds for this. I'm half tempted when I have some extra money that I may throw it at this since there aren't any games I am looking forward to. If they were even able to reach half of the people that bough NCAA each year to get into their bronze program the game would be in production already.

It's why they're set up the way they are, this is basically a year-long Kickstarter. If it fails, per their terms, they'll refund. Not sure if you 'subscribe' to a recurring donation that's refunded though.

Read the terms on the donation page (click to donate then there's a link to terms).

Re: IMV Gaming's College Football Game Gridiron Champions Gets a Publisher

I hope this game gets made, but after Joe Montana and Backbreaker I'm not really interested in donating to the kickstarter, supporting or really even following the project. Best of luck to them but until I see a decent game on a store shelf for sale, football gaming is dead.
