Re: Non League to Legend (Journey Man Save level 22 England) FM17

April 8th

We have our last home game of the season against Ashurst Wood III

Ashurst Wood III (6th ranked) @ Keymour & Hassocks (4th ranked)

Matthew Davies scores his 6th goal of the season (57) (unassisted)

Final: 1-0 W

Sam Castle (Keymour & Hassocks)
Stuart Bryant (Keymour & Hassocks)
Lewis Dickinson (Keymour & Hassocks)
Marc Rose (Keymour & Hassocks)
Mark Parsons (Keymour & Hassocks)
Charlie Anderson (Keymour & Hassocks)
Kevin Aldred (Keymour & Hassocks)
Charlie Attfield (Ashurst Wood III)
Michael Akinola (Ashurst Wood III)

Chris Webster (Keymour & Hassocks) 7.8 rating

Our last game of the season is a very important one as we are behind Ringer III and Heath Rangers by 2 pts. They each play each other in their lats game so i mean we need a win and those 2 to draw and then well see where it goes from there. Our chances of getting promoted are next to nill to be honest.

April 17th

Even though he is out of action for 6 to 7 weeks with a double hernia we have gone out and signed 16 yr old forward Graeme Kelly from Hildenborough Athletic U18

April 20th

We have signed 16 yr old defender Russell Simmonds for our U18 squad and will be joining us from Robertsbridge United

April 22nd

We have our last game of the season and last home game against Fletching II

Fletching II (8th ranked) @ Keymer & Hassocks (4th ranked)

Stuart Bryant scored his 9th goal of the season (34) (assisted by Chris Webster)
Charlie Anderson scores his 1st goal of the season (77) (assisted by Alvin Warner)

Final: 2-0 W

Matthew Davies (Keymer & Hassocks)
Paul Duggan (Fletching II)
Kevin Benham (Fletching II)
Ben Wood (Fletching II)

Rhodri Thomas (Keymer & Hassocks) (Dead Leg)

Charlie Anderson (Keymer & Hassocks) 1g 3 K Pas 8.1 rating

Even though we finished the season by a win the downside is that we missed the promotion by 2 pts out of 2nd place and depending on how Scaynes Hill II does we could only be 3 pts out of 1st

Re: Non League to Legend (Journey Man Save level 22 England) FM17

May 3rd

We signed another player our chief scout recommended us sign and that is 22 yr old midfielder Rob Parker

May 12th

After explaining to the board that we need more scouts in general and they tried to tell me at this level you get what you get for staff but after some discussion they have decided to grant my request so now we can carry 1 Chief Scout and 2 regular scouts

We have named Craig Nelson as our new Director of Football

May 13th

We have gone out and named Graham Kerr as our new Assistant Manager

May 14th

We have brought in a new scout in Pete Burdett

May 15th

We have brought in 17 yr old midfielder Emmanuel Salifu

May 18th

We have brought in 17 yr old GK Andrew Clifton

May 21st

Graeme Kelly has fully recovered from his double hernia that has kept him out of action for 6 weeks

With the players returning in a month what is going to happen is I will be scheduling alot of friendly games. The month or month and half long friendlies we will be spliting our training camp into 2 squads. One Team Black (Black Jerseys) and Team Gold (Gold Jerseys). Each roster will carry 2 goalkeepers 7 defenders, 6 midfielders and 4 strikers. Each team will play 8-10 friendlies which will be made up of our main squad, our u23 players and players we brought in from our youth intake who are now on our U18. The reason for this is that we get a chance to look at everyone for next season. If we need to release anyone bring anyone up etc and see what some players future is with our club.

May 27th

We have brought in 18 yr old midfielder Kevin Wallace

With Kevin Wallace coming in we have decided to release Lewis Dickinson

May 30th

I know i said earlier in my save that I would sign players 2 times a year November and March at the youth intake day. I have decided to change my mind. I have decided to go with the off-season (so that is 3rd week of April until end of June), then any time we have trial days and then our youth intake. If our scouts tell us to scout players for transfer we will scout them during the regular season and then add the mto our short list and then in the off-season we will take another look at them and see if they will be a upgrade to our squad or not.

The U23 league has rules for 1 max new goalie and max of 3 over-23 players and the season will take part from August to May on Monday evenings. We have accepted.

Our schedule for the upcoming season is below:

Our board expectations

June 26th

So guessing that how far we are in the England pool that with only Heath Rangers and our club being hte only teams i nthe level 22 that you can play as it does not look like there will be leagues for U23 and U18 as i just checked their schedules and nothing is shown so looks like we will be scheduling friendlies each month for the month so that our two squads keep their fitness up this season.

June 27th

Today Team Black has their first friendly of the pre-season against Heath Rangers

Heath Rangers @ Keymer & Hassocks (Team Black) (Pre-season Friendly)

Final: 1-0 L

Alvin Warner (Keymer & Hassocks 45th min Bruised ribs)

Alvin Warner will be out of action for 2-3 days with bruised ribs

June 28th

Max Ball who was batlting the goalkeeping battle last season has left our club this season for Lectern

June 30th

We have borught in 28 yr old centre-back Matthew Greeno. Even though he has been brought in on trial before the July 1st team transfer deadline, depending on how well he does on his 4 week trial if he does well because he has been accepted before the July 1st deadline we can still sign him anyone else not brought in before tomorrow cannot be brought in until next off-season unless its through trial date or youth intake.

Due to club protests about scheduling the 2022 World Cup has been moved to Canada instead of Qatar

The worst possible news we could have ever gotten and that is that Alvin Warner suffered a broken leg (lower) and will be out of action for 6-8 months so his 2017-2018 season is over. He was doing so well had 9 goals in 11 games in pre-season and now he goes and gets injured.
