Spoiler
Frank Mir
was a nice surprise, I never thought of that possibility lol
Oh it took a very long time! Haha. It was a very fun PPV, but yeah for the Royal Rumble like in real life it won't be a ten match card... that wipes you!
I went back and forth on him, and decided to pull the trigger. He has always been on my mind to come on over to the WWE, so why not now?
Yo it has taken me a few days to read both these shows and holy **** they were fantastic!!!! The surprises were all over the place and I enjoyed it!!! How fitting for Punk and Cena being the final two and then Punk taking the whole thing let's goooooooo!!
Corey Graves: We are less than 24-hours removed from one of the best Royal Rumble events of all-time! We had the first ever Women's Royal Rumble, that was won by AJ Lee. We also had the return of her husband, CM Punk, who won the male's Royal Rumble!
Michael Cole: That isn't all, Corey! Braun Strowman defended his WWE Universal Championship in a steel cage match against Samoa Joe!
CM Punk: Wow, did you guys miss me or something here too? Last week on Raw I defeated Finn Balor, last night I won the Royal Rumble Match, and in two months I will be Main Eventing WrestleMania for a major championship. Now I am a free agent, you see. I still have yet to decide which show I want to be on. I won't decide which show I will be on until the night of Elimination Chamber on February 18th in Phoenix, Arizona! It will be a Raw and Smackdown Pay-Per-View, in which the Universal Championship, and the WWE Championship will be defended in those Chambers...and on that night the world will know who I will be facing in this year's Main Event of WrestleMania!
John Cena: Nice to see you again, Mr. Brooks. And hello MONDAY NIGHT RAW! Now a lot of you must be wondering why John Cena is back in the WWE? Wasn't it just a few months ago Shinsuke Nakamura defeated you in a Championship versus Career Match? Well, yes, but nobody reads the fine print these days it seems. I was at the Royal Rumble last night in Philadelphia just in case Shinsuke were to lose the championship, because in our contract I would be "retired" for however long Nakamura had the United States Championship...and well when he changed the Title I was technically allowed back, but when he lost it I was definitely allowed back! However, also in the contract it stated I could never wrestle on the same brand as Nakamura as long as we are both here in the WWE. So with that, I am home on Monday Night Raw!
CM Punk: It always has to be about you, doesn't it John? You came back last night after a few month hiatus...which you have done before you "movie star" *smirks* You can't even get on Dwayne's level, yet you think you are somehow there! I left four years ago to make a stand, not to be a sell-out like yourself.
Edge: Ladies, ladies, ladies. You two weren't the only two who came back last night! The Rated R Superstar returned as well! I went to war, I came in as number two, and made it until that Beast decided it was my time to go.
Finn Balor: Look at the washed up bums in our ring, boys.
Luke Gallows: We got a couple of NERDS among us, now don't we?
Karl Anderson: CM Punk, Edge, and John Cena. Three easy first ballot Hall of Famers who want to take attention away from the new era here in the WWE. Now we can't allow that to happen, now can we boys?
Finn Balor: Last night, Gallows and Anderson became the NEW Raw Tag Team Champions, and AJ Styles defended his WWE Championship over on Smackdown. Now I did come up short in the Royal Rumble, but the same won't happen at Elimination Chamber! I will defeat the five other competitors, and go on to Main Event WrestleMania against I hope CM Punk, and beat your *** so bad you will grab your ball and go home yet again!
Christian: Balor Club. Old chaps. I have been appointed to become the new Raw General Manager! And in my first decision tonight's Main Event will feature, CM Punk, Edge, and John Cena versus The Balor Club! Whichever team wins gets to be in the Elimination Chamber Match, excluding Punk, of course. The losers I will find something else to do. Now for the fans, after that brutal Steel Cage Match last night, neither Braun Strowman nor Samoa Joe will be at the arena tonight due to injuries. Now lets get this show on the road!
