FC Cincinnati looks to add points to their start as Atlanta look to show the same. These are two of the newer teams to the league as they both are out to prove. Mattocks leads the MLS in goals. Martinez is Atlanta U leading scorer. Guzan posted a clean sheet for Atlanta in game 1.

What an exciting start to the game as it was a 2-2 game going into the half. Atl Martinez scored twice in the first (10' & 43') to match Mattocks in total goals. Manneh netted his first goal of the season for FCC in the 29' and FCC Mattocks scored in the 45' to pull ahead in the season total. Atl Barco got a yellow card in the 46'. FCC Adi added the game winning goal in 73'. FCC Richey was able to hold onto the lead by making 3 great saves in the last 10 minutes to secure the victory.

Mattocks and FC Cincinnati look to continue their hot streak as they are performing in front of their own fans. The home opener for the new MLS team is expected to be filled. Preseason and beginning of the season performance has led to additional hype around this club. Portland comes in looking to play spoiler as they are also undefeated.
