I wish it wasn't this way, but this is how it's going to be. They have three of the best players in the world on one team with a bunch of guys who can get hot as result people are going to pick them. All that said, I'm pulling for the Pacers and not disrespecting them in the least, I just don't think they're a top five team in the league. I don't even think they're the best team in the central of course.

But it is equally absurd to deny that the way refs call games have any affect on a series, especially when you have a big team vs. a small ball team.

EDIT: Nevermind. Pretty sure you were referring to the post above yours.
That's the thing though. People say the refs call the games different. But you have 2 of the best players at getting to the line on the Heat. Natural they are going to get to the line at least 5 times a game (max 10).

But also anyone remember this...

Did he miss time for that?

Also ehh post is on par with what I thought Melo did a horrible job protecting the ball.

Going back to what king said. He said the Knicks were more likely in the top 5 well, We proved were better than them.

Yes Indiana is a top 5 team in the league.

Call me crazy, biased, whatever. It's crazy to not see they're not a top 5 team.

If everyone was healthy in the East this year the Knicks would have probably been the 5th seed. We def aren't a Top 5 team in the league.

You're crazy, and biased lol

They are not a top 5 team in the league. They barely finished 3rd in the East and had Williams not been hurt for the Nets for the first month or so and Rose not have been out, they would have been the 5th best team in the East. Maybe a Top 5 team in the playoffs this year. I understand your excited, but let's pump the brakes on the hype train.

You're forgetting we're missing Granger as well.

We would have finished 2nd with him and 3 if rose was healthy.

It's not hype. This team is legit.

I'm not going to dilute this thread with this argument, but Granger was not the difference in this team's success and certainly not as big of a difference maker as Rose or Deron Williams. If anything him getting hurt made you better and allowed PG to develop. Wouldn't be surprised if he's dealt at seasons end.

And again, we're talking about the league. Pacers are not better than the Spurs/Grizz/Warriors/Nuggets/Thunder/Clippers. Regardless of how they stand in the playoffs now.
