I think CLE is going to leave their foot on the gas and get the sweep.

The series against the Wizards raised way too many red flags for me, even though the Celtics could have swept them and I still wouldn't have given them a chance vs CLE. The Wizards just aren't a very good team - their defense (esp PnR), their depth, their execution offensively, Brooks obviously. It's not like the Wizards had great match ups either that let them stay in the series.

CLE is such a large step up in every aspect of the game. Plus they're rested and seem to be on a mission. Bronny has them focused.

That's some interesting analysis about the Wizards.

I can side with you regarding their Defense because that's been an issue all year(more so the inconsistency because some nights they'd show up on that end but more times than not, they'd be a sieve). But Brooks was far being one of their problems this year so it's a bit unfair to throw shade his way based on what he's done this year.

Also disagree with you about them not having any match ups in this series. If that was the case, this series would've ended after Game 5.

I'd be shocked if this series doesn't go 6 but that's mainly because (tinfoil hat conspiracy time)Game 1 of the Finals starts on June 1st and I doubt they want any team sitting more than a week while the other series is still going on. Shoot, when's the last time a Conference Finals series ended where the winner had at least a week off before the Finals?

2015, Cavs had 9 days between Game 4 of the East finals and Game 1 of the Finals.

And going from the experience of two years ago, as crazy as this might sound, I don't want to sweep all the way through. I think if you do that then finally losing a game in the Finals is a much bigger buzzkill, especially if it's a game 1 blowout. If we can lose a game to the Celtics and still advance, I'll take that.

That was the year they played the Hawks too, wasn't it?

Don't know why for some reason I thought that went longer than 4 games.

Does Fultz get to play tomorrow? Might as well let him.

Boston in 7.

Boston will win 3 at home (Game 1, 5 & 7) and steal game 4 in Cleveland.

LeBron will have his way...but the supporting cast will be outplayed (with the exception of Kyrie in the games that Cleveland wins).
