Ravens TE Dennis Pitta suffered another hip injury and the team fears this recent one might be career ending, per PFT.

Three times in four years is hard to come back from. You have to start thinking about long term health.

Awful news for Pitta. Coming back from two hip injuries was inspiring, but I think he'll be hanging it up with this one.

Ravens also lost Tavon Young to a torn ACL a few days before, so the terrible injury luck continues.

I think the Ravens have 6 or 7 TEs too so it may be time for both sides to part ways, with Pitta hanging em up.

He's been released.

Baltimore meeting with WR Jeremy Maclin today.

McCoy was recruiting him hard to Buffalo, but he left without a deal.

Re: Official NFL Injury Thread

So apparently Joe Flacco has a back injury from lifting that could have him out for anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks.

The rumors are swirling about the Ravens bringing in Kaep... seems like a lot of noise just because of this injury and John's obvious relationship to Jim who still constantly capes for Kaep.

And if you need to turn away from that growing soap opera, arguably the front runner for center, Urschel, has decided to retire after just 3 years in the league. Honestly, props to the guy... he appears to be brilliant and will contribute quite a bit to society. But the Ravens oline was already a question and none of this new news is encouraging.

I liked it better when the top story was about a $150k earring.

Urschel... that's the guy from the commercials beating like 100 kids in chess at the same time!

Sounds like he will be fine post-football.

Ravens getting destroyed by injury. Seems like that's been a theme for them for years, especially in the secondary.
