You have to think CBS will have this carried nationally despite it being a 1 PM game. There are a lot of storylines heading into this one that don't even factor week one into the equation.

Muggins gives a good overview in his first post and I agree with it a lot. The one thing i'm a bit scared of is the duo of Gronk and Edelman. New England showed in the SB if you blitz them enough they'll be just as content to go with the dink and dunk offense that's hard to beat. The major difference is that this Pats O-Line is (at least right now) a bit weak up the middle so the protection and blitz pickup won't be nearly as good. One thing that i've noticed though is that the secondary last week did an amazing job of being right with the receivers. A lot of Luck's passes on the blitz failed because Darby and others were like a wet blanket on their receivers.

Offensively for the Bills I look for a heavy dose of running. If i'm Rex and Roman I seriously look at what the Steelers did running up the middle. That's not exactly McCoy's strongest suit but I can see Karlos Williams being a battering ram that allows McCoy to shake and bake when he gets the ball. As long as the Bills find themselves in 3rd and manageable situations Taylor should be successful more or less in those situations.

I see this as being a close game with the Bills winning 31-27.

It would be impossible for CBS to ever show a 1 o'clock game nationally in a week they don't have the double header.

It's going up against 5 other games so it will pretty much only be seen in New England, Upstate NY and Toronto.

I don't live in Buffalo (been a long time), but I'm told they don't like being called Upstate - they are 'Western NY' :P
