It seems to me that the only player playing with any passion at the moment is wilshere. Everytime I see wenger now he has this defeated look on his face and it seems like he is just counting the days until the end of the season. Only time will tell but I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. If he loses to swansea on wednesday he may even get the axe sooner. One can only hope.
There is absolutely no way Wenger gets fired in-season. And as long as he keeps us making money and in the top 4 year-in-year-out he will stay, as Krebstar said, until he wants to retire.

One day an article is released with him saying he wants to make two signings. The next day an article is released saying he wants to make no signings.

Unless its a clear and direct quote from him, its not worth reading at this point. The media knows that Arsenal NOT signing a player is a big of a story as other clubs signing a player. So, you get stories about it.

I think he's nuts if he thinks his team is fine as of now. Things will only get worse if they lose today.

The real issue is even if we win today, the FA cup is our only real hope of a trophy. So, if we go out in one of the next rounds, its just as bad as today.

I just read yesterday that Arsene said we have money to make bigger signings, with the new stadium deal in place. It was truly understandable we did not when the stadium first opened, as unless you're bankrolled by a billionaire, it takes some time to make that money back.

However, we're nearing that point. If Arsene did what he said we would in the last article I read, I would be happy. That is to make some big signings, but continue to use our youth system as a tool to bring players into the club. That is fine, as long as its not all of them.

Now I'm just rambling.

Usually for a match like today, I avoid it, and watch it when I'm home from work. I'm so anxious today that I'll be reading text updates. I can't wait. We need this.
