Re: 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup Thread

Ugly , ugly match. Ref was horrible, a lot of fouls not called in that game, especially 1st half. Then inconsistent with fouls in 2nd half, at least actually called some. A ot of times players just standing around waiting for whistle from ref after obvious foul, on both sides, and then play would resume, was very weird and restricted the flow of the game. We looked very rough and out of sync, d-line still a problem. But got the 3 points. Haiti and Panama both looked sloppy and boring and we should easily take group. Altidore looks lost out there mostly, some bright spots, not enough hussle by him, he needs to step up game. Dempsey the Texan johnny on the spot in Texas. Passing was off and on by team, like to see more pushing up by back line and mid field as I am sure Jurgen would.

The weather had to be a factor too, especially if you consider the 1st half pace. #10 on Honduras was drenched 5 mins in

Costa Rica just let a throw-in bounce at the far post to a wide open Jamaican player. 1-0, some of the worst defending you'll ever see.

Oh Canada! Cyle Larin missed an open goal in the first half.

In all of my years of playing and watching footy I have never seen anything like that. Jamaica got a little lucky with the deflection on the shot but still, that was atrocious and I'm half Jamaican.

I'm not convinced my Canadians will score a single goal at this tournament.

Coworker is Guatemalan and he was just shaking his head during the game today. What a disaster. Not like he expected anything different but still.
