The modeling is top notch, cockpit views are awesome and in my opinion the physics for the driving model are quite good. Using a Logitech G25 wheel, fully supported as many other Logi wheels are. Needless to say I’m picking it up day 1.

Labguy: It’s out 4/15 for North America, next week for Europe. If you google you can find a $5 code off for Amazon…$34.99
edit: Re-read your question…well anyways this is a response from a developer to that same question from the SCEA blog regarding GT5 final: “timasaki replied on March 18, 2008
erico316, you won’t be seeing GT5 full game for awhile, definitely not this year."
What cockpit view? The Demo I played at lamestop, either had you outside the car, or just view the road with gazes on the screen. There wasn't a cockpit view!

The Japanese demo had the cockpits...it's more representative of what Prologue is I think. The GTHD demo that you could download in North America didn't have cockpit views and was really more of a tech demo built off GT4 from what I've read.

Hopefully an up to date demo will accompany Prologue.

not a great shot lots of shadows in the cockpit but gives you an idea

I still think forza 2 will end up being the more fun game.

Addy thanks for the info. Since GT5 is not on the horizon for awhile I think I will pick Prologue up. Purchasing the game is no problem. Getting the steering wheel without the wife b*tching that is another story. LOL.
