I disagree. Contests, fatigue and distance all play a factor in how you shoot in real life. When a person can shoot in a myriad of different conditions the shooting gap in 2k23 really shines.

Where'd you see that? Per NBA.COM Jimmy shoots 33% on shots 16-24ft and 35% from the "midrange".

I think fundamentally the new generation of games should be so different on the court that they should feel uncomfortable saying the previous gen is close.

The idea that the ps4 and ps5 games are going to have similar gameplay is concerning. Best case scenario is the ps4 is getting a gameplay overhaul.

I think that its either 2k has learned over the years that capitalizing on the hype of new info leads to more impulse buys and better sales over the slow-boil approach and decided to go all in this...

Some players get positional blocks vs others who sky and get blocks from different angles. Rim Protector.

Same concept for hustle rebounder.

And intimidator is to replicate the lowered shot...
