Have they fixed the materials glitch on custom shoes? Like, metal material looks metal in game, not just in creator? Or is that still broke?

Update to my career. In the playoffs of year 2, now with LAL. Playmaking PG, won MVP (barely won over Steph, who lead the league in scoring). Here are some shots:

I'm late to this party, but are metal shoes still messed up? This was an issue last year too. I bought some custom shoes but metal texture won't show.
