Probably not the answer you want, but turning off pre existing injuries got it to work for me

They do in offline. If you shut it off mid game you will have the option of picking up where you left off when you restart

That's weird, I just did it and it worked for me. I don't know if it matters but it was the first thing I did in my franchise. Does it maybe have to be done before the first preseason game?

It depends on your definition of simple, but I just hot route them to pass protect. On PS4 you hit triangle, then the back's icon then R2, so on Xbox I'd imagine it's Y, then the back's icon then R...

I haven't played in a few years so I'm assuming this has changed, is scouting no longer done in the regular season? I'm in week 1 and I don't see the option to scout

I'd love to find this out too. I'm using The Bears, with a base 3-4 and John Fox's playbook and they show my starting lineup as if I'm a 4-3 team
