After watching the AI throw it away time and again, you can imagine how frustrating it was...

The general idea, from people who looked at it closely, is that the default playbooks have "starred" plays, and as a result, the AI overwhelmingly favors those plays and will really only call about...

Yes exactly. The +5 is just an indicator that A/S changed that value since the last version of his sliders. So you can safely ignore that.

I think just the playbook. I believe the schemes are really only used to tell you how a player fits by adjusting their OVR for a particular scheme.

Yeah I have to admit, it is both cool and annoying as hell to play as a DE, and reach the QB JUST as he lets it go . . . and the WR has your corner beat by five yards!!! Or the CB has good position...

Just more anecdotal stuff. I have played four games with this method now, and I am finding the AI MUCH more challenging. Definitely more variety. Loving it.
