I would imagine that would kill recruiting for the B1G. Most high ranking freshman always look for a chance to play early.

It wouldn't take much.

If a state like Texas or California got really lucky, they could easily see do the 5 in 5.

But yeah, it's insane that a smaller state like Alabama got it done.

In truth, if there was a team that didn't belong in the playoff, it was Florida State. They were running on fumes all year, played down to some pretty mediocre competition, and squeaked out a few...

I'm just curious, but if they wanted to reduce the number of bowl games, they should stop counting games against FCS schools in the record. That way, it will take a real achievement to get to bowl...
