That's essentially what I see too in the long run. You have 6 teams on the West Coast that all play each other every year and you limit the cross country trips to at most two per season for any team....

Well, one thing is that it is no longer a regional game like is was 25 to 30 years ago. So many of the local rivalries we all grew up with and loved dearly are essentially D.E.A.D.
