25 New Plays Coming to Madden NFL 12 - Play #12: PA Y-Drag Wheel

Over the next few weeks, EA Sports will show 25 new plays that you will find in Madden NFL 12.

To be clear, there are more than 25 new plays in the game. Each day, a new play will be accompanied by a screen of the play art and a brief description of why the play has been added to Madden NFL 12.

Play #12 features the PA Y-Drag Wheel.

The TE will run a drag route across the field away from the booting QB and then turn up the field on a wheel route. Man with a pump fake and a good OL, this play will do damage.

That's a really long throw to hit the Y on the wheel, it needs to be wide open. The Redskins had a 70 yd pass to Fred Davis on the same play last year where no one covered him.

Haha I'm loving alot of these new plays with drag routes underneath and all. Alot of these new plays with drag routes are going to be money plays people will use online to gain hugh chunks of yards. But I love this play and it will be going into my Custom Playbook when I get the game in August.

Going to need a strong armed QB to make this throw and the saftey is going to have to bite hard on either the PA or the crossing/post routes.

If PA is fixed this year and the OL can block this play could be 6 points no problem but if the OL are still revolving doors on PA then could be trouble
