If that is the case then not only "stick skills" but who you have at your disposal, will tell the tale.

Yes 90% of my input is "ratings need to matter" posts. With that said it's a cool addition.
This will be the absolute key to how "sim" this modifier system works from here forward. If it's truly something similar to NBA2k's system, then like Tiburon has stated many times, every player won't be doing the exact same things. The concern with Tiburon is that if they take this to the next level of player differential or not. Aside from expanding the modifiers to every position with applicable "moves", they need to implement things like sig running styles, mannerism, etc, at some point for more player distinction.

I was watching someone play NBA2k Saturday from a distance and immediately noticed Derek Fisher take a shot because of his sig shooting, in spite of the fact I didn't know he played for OKC. It's those type of nuances between players that are lacking or completely missing in Madden. If you switch Superstar QBs in Madden onto different teams, most people couldn't tell the difference from a distance, unless their skin tone was different. I noticed this little insert in an overlooked write up JPDavis posted and wonder how fleshed out this is.

"...Some changes to the running game are subtle: developers tried to capture personalities and running styles more faithfully, and you’ll now recognize backs that float like hummingbirds, swerve like race bikes, or plough forward North to South like charging bulls..." http://www.operationsports.com/forum...5-preview.html

Anyway setting the foundation so players can NOT outperform their ratings is paramount, so I am glad to see that being attempted.

I know I'm nitpicking, but the 49ers uniforms still aren't right in that screenshot. It's a minor thing, but if the obvious minor things haven't been fixed, it lessens my optimism that the major things have been fixed.

Marshawn Lynch is not that slim. Not nitpicking but hes one of the more popular players in the game, hes has a little size to him. He was way too small in Madden 13. Attention to detail.

Not sure what to think of all these new additions till I see how they play. Personally Id just be happy to hear them say your lead blocker will no longer turn around and run back into the line instead of bocking the defender right in front of him

Re: Madden NFL 25 Blog - How to Run Free

"Players with a strength rating over 90 can pull off a particularly devastating stiff-arm variant, complete with a hard shove capable of laying out defenders. Think Marshawn Lynch’s vicious Beast Mode run in the 2011 playoff game against the Saints and you’ll get the general idea."

If it's possible to recreate that Marshawn Lynch run every couple of games I swear i'm never touching Madden again. They said defense has been upgraded too with the Impact engine or whatever but I don't want harder hitting defenders I want smarter ones. Really wanted to see line interaction worked on, they would gain so much praise from this place if that happened

All of these added features are moot to me if the CPU Packers and Saints still run/pass the ball 50/50 anyhow. Going to wait a few months this time

Here is a highlight of D. McFadden performing a combo juke on M13

***The combo juke performed is a juke left into a spin right. The move was performed using the right stick only.***

I would like to hear your feedback on comparisons regarding the fluidity etc.
