I still feel sorta depressed about the DIY breakup, I think that was how both of those guys could have dug out a niche on main.

Tonight would've probably been Gargano vs Ciampa if it wasn't for Ciampa's injury.

Excited for Black and Itami.

Kassius Ohno isn't on the card? I thought he was supposed to be a big deal?

He's in the Rhyno role right now....beating up enhancement talent...then putting other guys over.

On paper, probably the most underwhelming Takeover card yet. Almas/Gargano and Asuka/Ember should be good though.

I'm pretty sure WWE were banking on Gargano/Ciampa being their main feud of the summer on NXT before Ciampa got hurt.

Re: NXT Takeover Brooklyn III (8-19-17)

Yea WWE was definitely banking on Ciampa/Gargano carrying the load for the non title matches. Definitely felt that when I was watching NXT to get caught up. Everything seemed to be thrown together last minute, IMO. I felt we were getting a Ohno/Itami match, nope that was on NXT a couple weeks ago. Instead Itami came and attacked someone who Black was fighting and that set up their match. Same goes for the tag title match. Sanity came out and attacked enhancement guys to set up there match. The men's and women's title matches I was fine with how those got set up. And then you had Sarita (Almas' manager) saying that Almas would take on Gargano, with no real reason behind it. That's just my feelings behind it. Card definitely feels weak though.
