Not to be cynical, but would a stellar game really need cheap marketing ploys to sell games?
To some this could be a sign of weakness that they have to resort to a bobblehead frenzy to sell games.

The Show is giving out a free hat. I think any game, no matter how good, can benefit from something like this.
Good, I hope someone enjoys the hat. No one is hoping that 2K8 or The Show do poorly, but coming from a psychology and marketing background, it's one of those questions worth mentioning.

I hate the Mets as well. But if i am able to score one i will give it to my brother inlaw, he is a huge Met fan
