But seriously nothing gets people more excited than watching Highlights.. top ten ESPN ****. Of course we want our games to play sim but we wanna know that we can drop some sickness on fools heads if we catch em sleeping. Plain and simple.
Damn! Tons of new layups, crosses and dunks which look the best ever. I'm downright impressed.

Yeah that must be it. 
Honestly though... it's just an observation and people can "act a fool" all they want over a trailer. They're the ones buying the game to do what they want with it. I get more excited over the intricacies and little nuances.

Looks great... some of those new animations (especially the change shot animations like that Kobe dunk that starts at 52 seconds) look absolutely perfect. I'm sure we won't see all the animations in this one for a LONG time due in part to the shot adjustments. Very impressive trailer, but yeah, doesn't answer some of my nagging questions. I just need the demo, that's the bottom line at this point..

I liked the trailer for what it was. Fun, exciting, showcased new animations, well edited, etc. It's good that people are excited. Nice to see a few pages go by without this turning into a fight, or a nitpick contest.
Also, I like looking at basketball highlights, and this was very much like looking at real highlights, and didn't feel like looking at video game highlights.

I dont know Pared.. some of this excitement that you talk about almost seems kinda fake to me.

lol...I think that people have been waiting for so long for a quality vid, to finally get one is very exciting! 2K is the only game I play year round, so it is very exciting for me.

I dont agree with that. These guys are just as excited as they have been in past years. I thought the trailer looked good. People are legitimately happy to see some footage of the game.
