Best Madden gameplay I've seen so far.
Game speed = AWESOME! This has me more excited than anything. The decreased speed increased the fluidity of the game exponentially. It looked much more lifelike, smooth, and alive... something Madden has honestly lacked on the 360.
Pocket = Almost awesome
It looks really good, but just like LBzrule pointed out, the outside rushers aren't getting upfield and the drops seemed kind of short. I can understand if it was a 3 step drop, but it felt like you threw on a longer timing, yet the drop was shorter.
Basically what this means is you visually see the QB standing still in the pocket longer than you'd really see, instead of either dropping back and snapping out a throw, or moving around in the pocket. It's not far off by any means, but I did notice that.
I LOVED seeing pro-tak in action with Miller fighting for yards... that's going to change the game forever.
Even the throwing animations looked much better, ball speed too. It looked like Big Ben really wound up and snapped that last pass to Miller, which is exactly what we want.
I love the clutter-less screen also. It's much more inviting and much less distracting. The focus will be more on the field now.

I do want monster DTs to be able to blow up plays some times. I just want it to be applied fairly.

I'm with abovetherim, it does appear that he is wearing a flak jacket, and obviously I'm not blind.
That's the bottom of his shoulder pads, not a flak jacket, the flak covers the stomach.

Did anyone else see the bizarre warp during the pro takcle on miller, looked great up till then
Looking good! Was it just me or did the defensive players in the huddle but then when they broke the offense was on the field? I thought that was a bit odd.
